Step 1: Complete the Study Abroad 101 module

Your completion of this step will help you understand the important information about studying abroad and help your education abroad coordinator have a more productive advising meeting with you!

Step 2: Search for Program Options

  • Use the Simple or Advanced search tools to discover program options.
  • Explore the list of approved third-party programs.
  • If you are traveling outside of the U.S. for a university-related purpose, such as attending an international conference, conducting research, participating in creative inquiry projects, traveling with part of a student organization, or similar experiences, you need to register your travel. Step 3: Meet with your academic advisor

  • Schedule an appointment via CU Navigate.
  • Discuss appropriate coursework to be taken abroad.
  • Make plans for current and future Clemson course enrollment.

Step 4: Meet with the Education Abroad Coordinator

  • Schedule an appointment via CU Navigate.
  • Discuss programs of interest and explore programs that meet your academic needs.
  • Learn about the application process and requirements.
